We're giving the organic farm a face!
We, that's Iris & Bernhard Hänni with daughter Lorena, manage in
Noflen, the family organic farm.
Organic farming has a long tradition here. We have consistently avoided unnecessary additives since 1969.
Fertilizers and pesticides. We are particularly proud of our diverse product range. We produce over 140 varieties of vegetables and fruits, process our products into special delicacies on our own farm, and enjoy developing our own cultivation systems. For several years now, we have been cultivating using a no-till, very gentle, and comprehensive system – developed on our farm – which was awarded the Grand Prix Bio-Suisse in 2015!
This is how we prepare for the future and protect nature – day after day.
We're not the biggest... but we're very versatile!
Our farm comprises only about 7 hectares of agricultural land. We cultivate open-field vegetables on permanent beds on approximately 5 hectares.
Our more than 100 standard fruit trees and the green areas, which are used for compost production, are also an important component.
We place great value on ecological diversity and work with great attention to detail. For example, flowers now bloom under all our standard trees to provide food for insects!
